October News!!

New Studio- I am so excited for the new studio. It turned out great! I would like to thank my friends Jamie and Brian Martin, Amber Ford, Todd Jones, Tom and Brittany Callister, Nanette Smith, Ranae Price and most of all my husband for all their help and hard work.

Thriller- Thriller performance is October 29th at the Washington City Community Center. Please make sure that you all have your zombie costumes done. Bring them to dance to have them checked. Hair for thriller should be crazy and messy and VERY big. Look on No Limit face book page for pictures if you need ideas. I will be sending home a note with all the information on what time and where you need to meet the night of the performance. Please watch for it to come home soon.

Parents- Parents please do not drop you child off to class more than 5 minutes early. I have back to back classes and I am not able to divide my attention between teaching dance and watching dancers that arrive early.

FUNDRAISER- Great job on fundraisers the last two weeks. The winner of the fundraisers is Charlize Brinkerhoff. She sold the most, Way to go! Most of you who participated were able to cover the sot of your costume. Great job.

Extra Practice- We will be starting MANDATORY practices for all dancers that will be performing thriller. Practices will be held on_________________________. Please make sure that you are at EVERY practice. Thanks.


HALLOWEEN PARTIES -Our class parties will be on October 24th and 25th. Dancer’s can wear their Halloween costumes or their thriller costumes and bring a treat to share with their class. We will be dancing the first half of class and then doing parties and games the last half.

Please send your child with a water bottle to class – No juice or soda is allowed.
Remember, tuition is due the first class of every month. There will be a $10.00 late fee assessed after that.
Parent’s day is the first class of every month, the last 15 minutes of class time. Parents please feel free to come and watch your child at that time.

AUGUST NEWSLETTER!

WELCOME to dance everyone! I am really excited to have all my dancers back, and I am looking forward to getting to know all my new students. This is going to be a really awesome year. We have so many new and exciting things coming up. Be sure to stay current all information sent home with your child. If you do not receive your notes you can check the blog for any info that you may need. Nolimitdancestudio.blogspot.com or go to the No Limit Dance facebook page.

TEAM MOM- I will need a team mom for all classes this year. If you are interested please sign up at dance. Team moms are volunteers who will be responsible for sitting with classes at competitions, recitals, helping with make up, and reminding parents about upcoming events.

TUITION Please remember that tuition is due the FIRST class of every month. If your tuition is not received you will have a $10.00 late added to your account. All late fees will need to be paid in full before receiving any costumes or being able to participate in performances.

FUNDRAISER-We will be doing fundraisers throughout the year. These fundraisers help to off-set the cost of dance for you. You can use them for tuition, competition fees, costumes or reciatl fees. Please participate and get your child involved in doing them. We will be starting one soon. Watch for more information to come.

PARENT MEETING- We will be having a parent meeting next week for the following classes. Monday varsity 4:00-6:00pm, Tuesday Jr. Varsity 4:00-5:30 and Jr. Elite Tuesday 5:30- 6:30. Parents please come to this meeting the last 15 min. of your child’s class.

DECEMBER NEWSLETTER

WELCOME BACK to dance. I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. Please remember that there is a $20.00 recital fee that is due with December tuition. All accounts will need to be paid in FULL before the recital. Thank You

CHRISTMAS RECITAL- Our Christmas recital is Monday December 13th at Desert Hills High School. The recital starts at 6:30pm all dancers need to be there at 6:00 pm, in costumes with hair and makeup done.
Hair and Makeup -
Hair needs to be parted on the left side and pulled back into a bun with the hair piece scrunchi. Please make sure you pull back your bangs!!! Also make sure to put lots of bobby pins in the bun and hair piece scrunchi so that it does not fall out. (Aussie instant freeze hair spray works great).If you do not have a hair scrunchi you can buy them at Family dollar or the Dollar store.

Apply heavy makeup. Mascara, eyeliner, eye shadow (same colors as your costume),Lots of blush, and dark lipstick.

COSTUMES- ALL dancers will need tan tights to go with their costumes. If you do not have any you can get them at Dance magic.

CHRISTMAS BREAK-There will be no dance from December 13th to January 3rd. Dance starts back on January 4th. I Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year.

EXTRA PRACTICE- We will be having a few extra practices. All dancers will need to be there. This is to make sure that we are ready for the recital. Watch for more info to come.

NOVEMBER NEWS LETTER

THRILLER- The thriller performances turned out great! Thank you to all the parents who helped. I am so proud of all the dancers. You all did a wonderful job.


CHRISTMAS RECITAL- The Christmas recital will be December 13th at Desert Hills High School. There is a $20.00 recital fee that is due with December tuition. Make sure to put this date on your calendars, and to invite your friends and family to attend.


COSTUMES- We will be ordering our costume on November 8th and 9th. You can use your fundraiser money if you would like. Costumes must be ordered by this date, so that they will be here in time for the Christmas recital. If your costume is not paid for in full by this date, it will not be ordered. Costume price is_(note to be sent home)_. If you need dance shoes you can purchase them at dance magic. You dancer needs_(note to be sent home)_. Also all dancers need tan dance tights to go with their costumes. NOT nylons. You can also purchase tights at Dance Magic

No Dance

There will be no dance classes on Monday, October 25, they will be rescheduled for Wednesday, October 27 at their regular times.

The halloween parties will be during these times.

OCTOBER NEWSLETTER

I will be sending home a note with all the information on what time and where you need to meet the night of the performance. Please watch for it to come home soon.

PARENT HELP- I would like for ALL parents to pass out 25 pieces of candy to all audience members during the first half of the football game. I have little papers that will need to be taped to the candies. I will send home the papers for you. This is a great way to help support your dancer and get our studio name out there.

FUNDRAISER- WE will be starting Baskin Robins ice cream cake fundraiser today. You will have 2 weeks to sell. We will be ordering costumes soon and this is a great way to help pay for them. I would really like for as many dancers as possible to participate.

Extra practice- We are having an extra practice Wednesday Oct.13th at Pine View on the football field. Practice will be from 6:00 to 7:00pm. ALL dancers need to be there!!!
